Lesson 6 of 6

Level 6: Ten clients

Run ten: team, snapshots, automations

Clear condition: Level 6

At least 10 live clients, 5 of them with real conversations in 3 different months of the last 120 days.

Somewhere between five and ten clients, the agency stops being you with a laptop. You cannot read every chat, tune every agent and answer every client message yourself any more. If you try, the work gets slower, the quality drops, and the first clients you signed start to feel it.

Level 6 is about building the agency so it runs without you being the bottleneck. Three things get you there: a team with the right access, one setup you roll out everywhere, and automations for the routine.

A team that sees only what it should

Your first hire will not need access to everything, and should not have it. Give each person exactly what their job needs.

You can limit a teammate to only the chats and contacts assigned to them. That is not a filter they can switch off: it covers the chats list, contacts, search, unread counts and exports. For agency work, you grant a teammate access to all your clients, or only selected ones, and pick the role they act as inside them: admin, editor or viewer. The clients you grant show up in their account switcher, so they do not need an invite into every client account. Removing access works immediately.

A good first split: one person reads chats every day and flags what the agent gets wrong, you fix the agents and close new clients. Then hand over the fixing too.

One change, every client

At ten clients, the same improvement has to reach every client in your niche on the same day. That is what snapshots are for at this size.

Capture your best setup as a snapshot: the agents, the pipelines, the custom fields and the automations. Apply it to several clients at once when you improve it. Set a snapshot to install on every new client automatically, so a new client starts from your best version without anyone remembering to do it. Installed agents start paused, so you check the client's details before anything goes live.

Let automations run the routine

Every agency has the same weekly chores: tag a lead when they book, move a deal when they pay, tell the team when a hot lead comes in, follow up when someone goes quiet. Each one is an automation, built once.

Group them in folders, one per client, so you can open a client and see everything that runs for them. When a teammate asks "why did that message go out", the answer is one click away.

The real job at ten clients

At ten clients your job changes. You stop being the person who builds agents and become the person who decides what the agency sells, to whom, and at what price. The team builds. The snapshots carry the quality. The automations do the routine.

Everything in levels 1 to 5 still applies: real conversations, real bookings, clients who stay. This level just means you have a system that does it ten times over.

Do this now

  1. Write down every task you did for clients last week, and mark the ones somebody else could do with a checklist.
  2. Add a teammate and limit them to the clients and chats they need. Team management
  3. Snapshot your best setup and apply it to several clients at once. Applying to several clients at once
  4. Set a snapshot to install on every new client automatically. Snapshots
  5. Move each client's automations into its own folder. Organizing automations in folders

The ticks are only saved in this browser. Your level still comes from your account.

Where this level stands

Level 6 is the top of the ladder. Getting to ten clients usually means you stopped doing every setup yourself.

Game clear

Level 6 is the top of the map

Reach Level 6 and you have cleared the challenge. Two things left: switch on your public profile so you are listed on the board, and share what you built in the DM Champions community on Skool.

Do it in your own account
